Introduction

Registration

1.Students registration affairs.

2.Certificate of Enrollment can be printed via Administration System (New). You can also bring photocopies of your student ID to the office of Registration and Curriculum Section and have them stamped.

Student Status

1.Current students and graduated students status data   managements.

2.Student data updates.

3.Inter-departmental/inter-program transfer-related matters.

4.Double-major and Minor application.

5.Suspension, withdrawal, transfer and resumption of study

  • Please complete the processes on the specified dates per school calendar. 
  • Application deadline for suspension of study will be on the last day of classes of each semester.

Grades

1. Domestic Students shall be expelled from the University if accumulated credits for failed courses
     up to half of the total credits for two consecutive semesters. 
    International students shall be expelled from the University if accumulated credits for failed
    courses up to two thirds  of the total credits for two consecutive semesters. 
2. When a student’s absences from class exceed one third of total class hours for a course in a 
     semester , the student shall receive a semester grade of zero , even if the student have taken final
     exam.
3. Grade review request

  • Grade review request must be submitted no later than two weeks before the next semester begins.  
  • Students can submit request as soon as grades are announced if students were subject to expulsion due to above conditions.

4.Graduation Credit Check

  • Students must pass all required courses and meet the professional competencies stipulated by their departments.
  • Students should not enroll in courses with the same code or title; otherwise, the repeated course shall not be acknowledged. 
  • Total optional credits=Departmental optional credits + outside-department optional credits. Students must meet Departmental optional credit requirement in order to graduate.
  • Please monitor your own course and credit status each semester carefully and make sure it is on the right track.

Credit Regulations

1. Minimum graduation credits : 128 credits 
2. Department of Architecture (5 year program): 160 credits 
3. Students should enroll in 16–25 credits each semester. Graduating students should enroll in 9–25 credits/semester of their last school year.

Exams

1.Midterm and final exams will be carried out in forms of in-class exam or regular class session, as course instructors regulated.
2.All midterm and final exams must abide by the University’s Regulations Governing Student Examination. Any violation will be dealt accordingly.
3.Students should apply for leave of absence for exams through the Academic Affair Office, and contact the course instructor with approval to schedule for a make-up exam. Grading of make-up exam are as stipulated in the University’s Regulations Governing Student Examination and Midterm and Final Exam’s Leave of Absence.
4.Make-up exam for midterm should be held after midterm exam has taken place. Make-up exam for final exam should be held before score uploading deadline of the semester, without any delay in calculating semester grades.
5.Students who took an official leave, bereavement leave, maternity leave and/or a hospice leave will be graded as the point average system given. Students who took any approved leave that are not mentioned above will be graded down by 20 percent of the point average system given.
6.When a student’s absences from class exceed one third of total class hours for a course in a semester, the student shall receive semester grade of zero even if the student has taken the exams.

Course Withdrawal

1.Students must complete the Course Withdrawal application and confirm their course timetable by the 12th week of the semester.
2.Students are only allowed to withdraw from 1 course per semester.
